WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Another Family Conversation

Camp Rock music on radio in the background.

Dad : So, Kaylee.  What is this movie about?  (Premeiring Friday on the Disney channel if you don't have a tweener that has told you already!)

Kaylee : I think that this girl goes to camp and meets the Jonas Brothers.  She ends up getting together with one of them.

Mom : Wow, do you think that she will get to kiss a Jonas Brother?

Kaylee :  Yeah!

Chase :  She's so lucky!!

A SAD DAY!!

It's a sad day when I am excited to see gas for $3.76.  Most stations are inching toward the $4.  I pulled over and filled up even though I still had 1/3 of a tank left.

(P.S.  My bill was still $54.)

FEAR THE SMEAR

Every year our friends the Stocks have done a shaving cream fight to celebrate school being out. Every year we have had baseball and couldn't come -- until this year.  It starts out with the shaving cream initiation to the head.  You are given your official 1st can of shaving cream.

Here they are ready and waiting for the fight to begin!!

Even Kaci got some on her hand!

Jackson and Chase after smearing for awhile.

GAME ON!!!

Here is the video of the fight.  The kids and Jason had an absolute blast.  They were covered in shaving cream.  Note to self for next year -- bring LOTS of towels and hose everyone off before they get in the car to go home!!

Towards the beginning!

After the fight has been going for awhile!!

GREAT JOB JACKSON!!!

School is finally out for Jackson. He had to endure one day longer than Chase and Kaylee. His awards assembly was yesterday at the same exact time as Chase's Kindergarten Graduation so Jason and I split parental duties. Jason went to Jackson's thing and I went to Chase's. Jackson won --drumroll please-- P.E. Student of the Year. He worked very hard to achieve such success! All kidding aside, he also won the Principals award for academic achievement, which was only awarded to about 10 kids. We are super proud of all of his accomplishments this year. He is SUPER ready for summer and is ready to take advantage of sleeping in in the mornings. Either he is turning into a teenager or he has more Gardner blood than Esplin blood. Anybody who thinks waking up early is 8:00 am is a definate Gardner!!
