ON TO ASPEN GROVE

So the first hour of Aspen Grove is spent taking the big family picture.  Every two years we do this reunion and we always take a big family picture. It is one of my favorite pictures to hang on my wall at my house. My sister Tami handed someone her camera and had them take some candid shots while the photographer gets us ready.  If you want a good laugh, click on the picture to make it big and look at Joe.  (Right hand side of the picture for those who aren't Gardners)  Look at the expression on his face while Diane is shaking her hair. CLASSIC!!

(Sidenote -- The shirt colors were done by generation.  Red is Grandma and Don.  Green are the aunts and uncles.  Brown are the grandchildren and their spouses.  Blue are the great grandkids)
Can you believe that these two are considered teenagers!!  SCARY!
Chase doing his rocker pose.  He thinks it is hilarious.  His mom --not so much. Every scrapbook page will have him looking like that. At least people will see his true personality as they turn the pages of his life at 6.
Here are all of the grandkids minus our sweet Joy!  I am sure she was sitting in a tree not far watching over her family and smiling at our antics to get the babies to look at the cameras!!
WHAT A CUTE FAMILY!!!
Let the parties begin --picture time is over. Okay, formal pictures. Mom still has her camera to capture every moment!!
