My beef of the day!

6:26 am  YES   6:26 am

That is what time the phone rang.  Now, most of you know I am NOT a morning person. Also, if the phone rings before about 7 you realize something is not right.  Well, this phone call was from the SCHOOL DISTRICT informing me that the school busses are running late.

LATE!  We don't even ride the bus.  Plus, school doesn't even start until 7:40.  We are still asleep!(Well not anymore!)  

I realize that for some parents this was an important phone call.  But with technology today you would think that the district could have had the computer call only those who rode the bus and maybe called the junior high kids and elementary kids, that start later, at 7:00.

Now, maybe, if that call would have informed me that school was cancelled, I would have been only a little perturbed, rolled over and gone back to sleep. 

WHY THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY LOVES ME...

1.  I have been the 8:30 a.m. (that's when the phone lines open up) caller to the doctors office the last 5 out of the 9 days!  The front desk people love me!

2. I have baffled the doctor with this pink eye that WON"T GO AWAY!!!!  ( 3 times Jackson  3 times Kaylee  1 time mom)

 

3.  I have spent over $150 on prescriptions at Walgreens over the last 4 weeks.  

4.  Poor Kaci had to miss preschool 2 times last week due to a cold and then a miserable ear infection.  She keeps telling me that her ear is all better so she doesn't need to take the meds anymore.  5 more days!

Thank goodness for health insurance and a hard working husband so we can afford these kids. Who wants to come to my house?  

I've been a slacker!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I took Kaci and her friend Madison to Krispy Kreme for a fun Valentine's activity.  They had so much fun watching the donut machine and then picking out a donut and then, of course, eating it!  I love their clean faces!!

It is a good thing that I don't go to Krispy Kreme very often because they have very good donuts and it is hard to eat only one, especially fresh out of the fryer!! Hope everyone had a fun Valentine's!!

Spencer's Blessing

While we were in Utah, we were able to attend Spencer's baby blessing.  All of the Esplin Family was there so it was fun to see everyone.

Here are all of the Esplin grandkids.  My favorite is Jane who is freaking out about taking the picture and not being my her mom!
This is what happens to Kaci after a weekend of partying.  She was WIPED OUT!!!
Thanks for a fun day at your house Scott and Janice.  The food was great and it was fun to see everyone, even if it was only for a couple of hours!!

Happy Birthday G-ma!!

We were able to go to Utah over President's Day weekend for the Draper Temple open house. While we were there, there was a birthday party for Grandma Gardner.  She turned 85 today!! It was so much fun to see aunts, uncles, cousins and especially Grandma.  

Kaylee loves playing with her cousin Grace and her second cousin Amy.  These girls have so much fun together.  Kaylee wishes she could live closer so that she could play with them always.

We had so much fun.  The food was excellent and it wasn't my child that broke the gumball machine. Woo-Hoo!  

Clever Chase

Today was the 100th day of school.  They filled out a booklet of different questions like,  If you could have 100 of anything what would it be?  etc.  

Question  --  Today is your 100th birthday, what are you going to do?

Chase  --  Take a nap!
